My Recovery Plan

At Trinity Recovery House, we are proud to have put My Recovery Plan into action with funding support from the British Columbia Maritime Employers Association.

As part of our commitment to invest into our community and our people, the innovative program will use software to develop modern and individualized wellness aftercare plans for clients moving into the next chapter of their recovery.

Since we implemented it in 2021, nearly 65 men in Prince Rupert accessed the program as part of their recovery.

How It Works

The Recovery Capital program will offer residential, transitional and aftercare recovery.

Each individual will have his own recovery plan best suited for him in areas of housing/shelter, spirituality, medical health, dental, employment training, support networks, access to education, coping in the community, attitude, emotional health, cultural connections, trauma, etc.

They will also develop their own wellness plan with our staff and mentors and be provided access to all relevant agencies, resources and caregivers to support their wellness throughout our community, as well as  outside residents' communities as relevant.

About the British Columbia Maritime Employers Association (BCMEA)

The BCMEA is a voluntary organization representing the majority of private waterfront employers in B.C. and, by extension, over 9,400 people directly working within the west coast port terminal facilities. Where ship meets shore, B.C. maritime employers are responsible for the safe movement of cargo and passengers through Canada’s West Coast ports. Our members include ship owners and agents, stevedores, bulk, break-bulk, container and cruise ship terminal operators working out of ports from Victoria to the Alaska border.
